Werner Haase
Executive Chairman
The Madison Leadership Team
As our visionary founder, Werner established a clear direction for Madison’s guiding principles that have driven our organization for decades and ultimately is what sets us apart from our competition. His vision for Madison was to be an adaptable, innovative, service oriented company that provides the most up-to-date methodologies and technologies that deliver beyond client’s expectations. Under Werner’s guidance, Madison has evolved through consistent organic growth from a starter incentive company in the 1970’s to a leading global workforce engagement and sales incentive marketing company today. A born entrepreneur, he early on recognized the potential of melding technology with business trends. Because of that, he has been responsible for several ground breaking “firsts” within the recognition and incentive space. You will find Werner and Madison tied to the first internet based sales contest that was launched in 1995, followed a few years later by the first consolidated recognition web portal application. These are just a few of the key milestones in Madison’s history.
Before founding Madison in 1974, Werner had an executive career and was associated with organizations such as Colonial Penn and Gulf & Western.
Werner studied at the Universities of Munich, Lausanne and Berlin.
