Manager of Solution Design


Location: New York, NY


Compensation: Commensurate with experience


Qualifications Include:


* A bachelor’s degree or equivalent



  • 5+ years of business writing and editing experience

  • Understanding of employee recognition and sales incentive solutions to include communications, rule structures, SaaS technology and analytics

  • Solid MS Office skills, including Power Point/Prezi presentations, Photoshop word processing and spreadsheets

  • Experience with electronic content delivery including Ariba or equivalent for response uploads

  • Solid presentation skills

  • Superior oral and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities Include:



  • Working closely with Director of Solution Design to determine proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs; studying requests for proposal (RFPs); attending strategy meetings

  • Gathers proposal information by identifying sources of information; coordinating submissions and collections

  • Meets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approval; entering and monitoring tracking data; coordinating requirements with contributors; contributing proposal status information to review meetings; transmitting proposals

  • Maintains quality results by using templates; following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and tone; creating and maintaining proposal support libraries

Project Manager


Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities Include:



  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel within your portfolio of accounts.

  • Lead in planning, evaluating and executing programs managing timelines and budgets with internal development team (i.e. B.A., Dev, QA, and NetOps).

  • Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue.

  • Effectively collaborate with the internal team to identify and resolve any program impediments that arise.

  • Ensure that client issues and customer service escalations are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Review all major deliverables to ensure quality standards and client expectations are met.

  • Take initiative to suggest opportunities for account growth and new business projects.

  • Perform routine operational testing, performance reporting and projections.

  • Create invoices, account adjustments and is responsible for payment collections.

  • Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to ensure strong team representation and set proper client expectations.


Requirements/Key Skills:



  • MUST have minimum of 3 years of project and/or account management experience.

  • Extremely detail oriented, organized and able to manage time effectively while managing multiple deadlines and projects of varying size and complexity.

  • High level technical web-based competency understanding of SAAS products.

  • Self motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator.

  • Ability to think outside of the immediate environment and predict issues the customer is likely to have before they have them and provide appropriate solutions.

Manager, Product Management


Location: New York, NY

Responsibilities Include:



  • Deliver the most value to our users/customers and our business by leading a cross-functional team and executing on the roadmap

  • Work collaboratively with the CEO, COO, EVP and Sales team to assist in defining the market and product direction

  • Gather high-level level-of-effort (LOE) working collaboratively with Business Analysts(BA), User Experience(UX), Software Architects, Developers, Quality Assurance(QA), and Network Operations (NetOps) for new features and initiatives

  • Solid understanding of users, customers, the marketplace, the competition and of future trends for Incentive solutions/employee engagement type of products being developed

  • Proxy for the users and the customers

  • Support Madison’s Agile Development Life Cycle as a “product owner”

  • Ensure Client Service/Professional Service, Training and Support teams are well prepared to support the product with every launch

  • Support the Project Managers with launching product to market

  • Champion TPM processes: Define, Refine, Enforce and Educate

  • Subject matter expert on the existing version of the product


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or technical discipline is required. An advanced degree is desirable

  • 8 years of experience working in product management for a SaaS software product

  • 5 years as product owner role on an Agile Scrum team

  • 3 years in business requirements gathering

  • Incentive industry experience a PLUS

  • Thorough understanding of Agile Scrum software development methodology and ability to mentor Business Analysts and Project Managers in the Agile Scrum process

  • Strong ability to write Agile stories and strong understanding of the story elaboration process

  • Strong ability to maintain and prioritize the Scrum team’s backlog

  • Strong understanding of web-based technologies and related design concepts

  • Self-motivated and resourcefulness required in a sometimes ambiguous work environment

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively with customers in high-pressure situations and with multiple groups
