Compensation: Commensurate with experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong, entrepreneurial spirit, and be a true HUNTER. They will be able to cultivate, develop, and grow new business opportunities at FORTUNE organizations within a defined territory, and enjoy a role with tremendous opportunity within a high results/high rewards sales environment.

Positioning a unique SaaS based solution, the primary function of this role is to open doors, and set the stage for a team based selling opportunity in which the Director of New Business Development is the LEAD. This role will be responsible for meeting and exceeding monthly activity goals, as well as an annual sales quota.

Developer

Location: New York, NY
Compensation: Commensurate with experience

We are looking for an in-office, Front-End/SQL Web Application Developer to join the team. This individual will design, build, and maintain custom solutions for clients using Microsoft tools. All candidates should be detail-oriented and possess strong personal management skills.

3-5 years of full, hands-on life-cycle development experience using .NET (VB and C#) and SQL Server is required. Familiarity with Classic ASP is preferred, but not required.

Example of Daily Duties:

  • Maintain existing web applications.
  • Design, code, test and debug new applications/enhancements to existing applications based on business requirements.
  • Develop new programs with an emphasis on the user experience.
  • Research and correct system bugs.
  • Work with graphic designers and other developers to implement new features.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL including, but not limited to, creating/modifying stored procedures, tables, views, triggers, user functions, etc.
  • Writing and executing complex reports using T-SQL.
  • Ability to work with DTS (Data Transformation Services) and/or SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).
  • Ability to support an ADFS SAML single sign-on is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Have a full understanding of Madison tools and technologies to perform job tasks
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel to manage all vendors offerings

  • Identify escalation patterns and make suggestions on how to improve processes to lower escalation rates

Business Analyst

Location: New York, NY

MADISON Performance Group is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join our systems analysis and design team. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with strong business analysis skills for web based projects. The Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering business requirements, performing business need assessments, and determining technical requirements. The individual will also be responsible for the documentation and maintenance of all requirements and technical specifications. The candidate must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills and must possess the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals inside and outside of the organization.

The ideal candidate will be an “out of the box” thinker with the ability to come up with innovative ideas and solutions to solve complex problems. The candidate must also know how to ask the right questions based on the audience to get the necessary information to effectively analyze and document requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate requirement gathering and record information effectively with internal and external stakeholders, project managers, developers and system architects.
  • Explain complicated ideas and concepts effectively to stakeholders through written or verbal communication.
  • Create requirements and program specification documentation (this includes creation of high level system diagrams, use cases and data flow diagrams)
  • Create functional requirements, interactive wireframes, prototypes etc.
  • Ensure that all requirements related documentation is up to date (business requirements, technical specifications, functional requirements etc.)
  • Propose solutions for complex problems while taking into considering project scope, budget, timelines, internal needs and client needs.

Other Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the QA manager to ensure that all requirements are included in the testing effort for projects.
  • Participate in the testing effort with the Project Managers and QA team.
  • Data analysis
  • Participate in SDLC meetings with internal and external team members to help ensure that the project is on track.
  • Help design, document, and maintain system processes.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of related industry work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience working and collaborating with Business Stakeholders, Clients, Account Managers, Technical Architects and Project managers
  • Able to comprehend and translate business requirements into technical specifications
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Comfortable with relational databases
  • Working understanding of at least one commonly used project management methodology such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum
